About WeThePeople DAO

cftcsucks.com is a public good owned and operated by WeThePeople DAO. It is a censorship-resistant permanent record platform — not a legal advocacy organization, not a litigation fund, and not a product. It is infrastructure for people who have been silenced.

Mission

WeThePeople DAO was founded on a single insight: the tools of financial destruction — asset freezes, receiver appointments, narrative control — can be deployed by government agencies before any court has made a finding of fact. The accused is destroyed before the trial. The trial, if it comes at all, is a formality.

The blockchain changes the equation. Every message posted on cftcsucks.com is permanently encoded in an Ethereum transaction. No court order can delete it. No hosting provider can take it down. No government can seize it. The blockchain is not a promise. It is mathematics.

The founding case — Sam Ikkurty's case against the CFTC (No. 1:22-cv-02465, N.D. Ill.) — is the proof of concept. The platform belongs to everyone. The platform's mission is independent of the outcome of any individual case, including the founding case.

DAO Treasury Policy

All tokens received by cftcsucks.eth are held as WeThePeople DAO treasury reserves. The DAO wallet is public. All transactions are visible on Etherscan at all times.

Tokens may only be used for:

Smart contract development for Phase 3 decentralization
Advocacy infrastructure and site operations
Any other purpose approved by DAO governance vote
Explicit restriction: DAO treasury tokens will not be used to fund legal defense for any individual case, including Sam Ikkurty's case. The treasury is a public good, not a litigation fund. The DAO will never sell tokens on the open market without a public governance vote.

SAVE Token

SAVE is the primary vault token of FLAT Protocol (flat.cash). pSAVE is the pre-launch LBP token, redeemable 1:1 for SAVE after vesting. Both tokens are accepted at equal bid value.

Decentralization Roadmap

cftcsucks.com is designed to become progressively more decentralized and censorship-resistant over time. The roadmap below describes the four phases of this transition.

PhaseTimelineDescription
Phase 1: CuratedMonths 1–6Manual verification by site operator. Messages posted within 24h. Human content review. ENS/IPFS static mirror updated on each new bid.
Phase 2: Semi-automatedMonths 6–12Open-source monitoring script watches cftcsucks.eth. Automatic posting for valid bids. Manual override retained. Script published on GitHub. IPFS mirror auto-updated.
Phase 3: Smart contractMonths 12–24Immutable Ethereum smart contract deployed. No admin keys. No pause function. cftcsucks.eth points to contract address. Client-side content filter is open source.
Phase 4: Fully trustlessMonth 24+Contract is the sole arbiter. No human can modify, delete, or override any message. The Wall of Grievances is a permanent, autonomous on-chain record.
Platform continuity is governed by the WeThePeople DAO charter, not by any individual. In the event that the founding operator is unavailable, the DAO charter defines the succession process for transferring operational control to a designated successor or multi-sig governance structure.

Content Policy

In Phase 1, the site operator reviews all messages before posting. The following are not displayed:

Threats of violence against any person
Doxxing (publishing private personal information without consent)
Child sexual abuse material
Content that creates direct legal liability for the site operator under US law

Everything else is posted. Political speech, criticism of government agencies, criticism of corporations, personal grievances, creative expression, messages to history — all of this is the product.

Important distinction: The content policy applies to the display layer only. The blockchain record — the transaction to cftcsucks.eth with the message in the input data — is immutable and exists permanently on Ethereum regardless of whether the site operator chooses to display it. The site operator cannot delete a blockchain record. They can only choose not to render it on this website.
